1.   SKY POOL, ENGLAND

If you find yourself walking on 5 Nine Elms Lane in London, don’t forget to look up – you’ll see the incredible Sky Pool, and lucky swimmers who live in the Embassy Gardens buildings. Recently opened in April 2021, the Sky Pool is an 82-foot (25-meter) pool that extends between the top floors of two residential buildings – 115 feet above the ground. According to CNN, it’s the largest freestanding acrylic pool structure in the world and made the long journey to London from Colorado, where it was manufactured.

2.   CITYSTARS SHARM EL SHEIKH, EGYPT

You might want to reconsider swimming laps if you find yourself lucky enough to take a dip in the Citystars Sharm El Sheikh pool in Sharm el-sheik, Egypt, which opened in 2015. That’s because the pool is the largest man-made lagoon in the world, covering a mind-boggling 30.8 acres (12.5-hectares).

3.   BONDI ICEBERGS POOL, AUSTRALIA

Bondi Beach is one of the most well-known beaches in the world, and for good reason – the white sand and killer waves make it a central attraction for tourists and locals alike in Sydney. Another amazing feature of Bondi Beach is the Bondi Icebergs Pool, which is nestled right along the coast. Water from the Pacific Ocean often splashes into the pool, and swimmers can experience ocean swimming without leaving the pool.

4.   INFINITY POOL, MARINA BAY SANDS, SINGAPORE

If you are looking for peak instagramble luxury, look no further than the Infinity Pool at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in the Downtown Core district of Singapore, which opened in 2010. At 492-feet/150-meters, the pool is the world’s longest elevated pool. Located at a height of 627-feet/191-meters, the infinity pool offers jaw-dropping views of the Singapore skyline at all hours of the day.
